WATERING THE SEEDS OF GROWTH FOR CHANGE
Sarasota Grief Counseling provides experienced bereavement care to people who are grieving a loss and to anyone in need of counseling services.
Most people find themselves needing help with tough emotions at some point in their lives, especially surrounding the loss of a loved one. We offer the full range of professional counseling services for individuals, couples, children, families, and groups in methods that include Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Gottman Couples Therapy, Sand Play Therapy and Art Therapy, among others.
Grief is not a mental disorder—it is a normal, natural response to loss or trauma. However, sometimes grief is misdiagnosed as depression, anxiety, or other conditions, leading to wasted time and unsuccessful treatment. If you have suffered a loss and have found other treatment to be ineffective, consider seeking the care of a certified grief counselor.
Sarasota Grief Counseling was founded in 2009 with the mission of bringing comprehensive bereavement care to the Sarasota-Bradenton area. Through a program of counseling services, support groups, educational outreach, and partnership with complementary organizations, we strive to be Southwest Florida’s best source of support in the face of loss.
